Therefore he called that place Beer-sheba, because the two of them swore an oath there.

Nebo and Baal-meon (their names being changed) and Shibmah; and they gave other names to the cities which they built.

Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god. I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood; and I will not take up their names on my lips.
