And Bethuel begot Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother.

And Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah; and he took Rebekah and she became his wife, and he loved her. And Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.

And Rebekah had a brother whose name was Laban, and Laban ran out to the man by the well.

And Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Paddan, to Laban the son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.

And when Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan to take himself a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, You shall not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan,

And he drove away all his livestock and all his possessions which he had gained, his acquired livestock which he had gained in Paddan, to go to his father Isaac in the land of Canaan.

And Jacob stole away, unknown to Laban the Aramean, in that he did not tell him that he was fleeing.

And God come to Laban the Aramean in a dream by night, and said to him, Beware that you not speak to Jacob from good to evil.

And God appeared to Jacob again, when he came out of Paddan, and blessed him.

And you shall answer and say before Jehovah your God: My father was an Aramean, about to perish, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number; and there he became a nation, great, mighty, and populous.

And many lepers were in Israel during the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.
