And Sarah said, God has made laughter for me, and all who hear will laugh with me.

And God said to Abraham, Do not let your eyes quiver because of the lad or because of your maidservant. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your Seed shall be called.

And God said: Truly, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I have established My covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, with his seed after him.

And He said, Take now your son, your only one Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.

And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the River, led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed and gave him Isaac.

Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers.

And He gave him the covenant of circumcision; and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot the twelve patriarchs.

nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, In Isaac your Seed shall be called.

of whom it was said, In Isaac your Seed shall be called,
