And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before Jehovah.

And Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.

And he and the men who were with him ate and drank and stayed the night. And they arose in the morning, and he said, Send me away to my master.

But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise,

for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, and is in bondage with her children;

And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and there he called upon the name of Jehovah, the Eternal God.

So Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beer- sheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.

And he called it Shebah. Therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba to this day.

So Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba. And he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and came to Beer-sheba of Judah, and left his servant there.
