And it happened one day that Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she prevailed upon him to eat food. So it was, as often as he passed by, he would turn aside there to eat food.

I say to you, Though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as much as he needs.

Then the master said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.

And they drew near to the village where they were going, and He made as though He would have gone farther.

But they constrained Him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And He went in to stay with them.

For the love of Christ holds us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;

So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes.

And he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree. And they ate.

And the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the same day that Isaac was weaned.

Then Levi made Him a great feast in his own house. And there were a great number of tax collectors and others who sat down with them.

There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those reclining with Him.

Do not forget hospitality, for by so doing some have unknowingly entertained angels.

So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes.

Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats anything leavened from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

And they baked unleavened cakes from the dough which they had brought out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they prepared food for themselves.

And Gideon went in and prepared a young goat, and unleavened bread from an ephah of flour. The flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot; and he brought them out to Him under the terebinth tree and brought them near.

Now the woman had a fatted calf in the house, and she hastened to kill it. And she took flour and kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread from it.

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
