If you do well, is there not exaltation? And if you do not do well, sin is lying at the door. And its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.

Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job will pray for you; for I accept him; lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as Jehovah commanded them; for Jehovah accepted Job.

The eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

He shall turn toward the prayer of the destitute, and shall not despise their prayer.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

Thus says Jehovah to this people: Thus they have loved to wander; they have not restrained their feet; therefore Jehovah does not accept them. He will now remember their iniquity and punish their sins.

A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, till He sends forth judgment to victory;

I say to you, Though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as much as he needs.

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in the things pertaining to God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?
