Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar.

And he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

Let as many bondservants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed.

And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren, but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

And Jehovah God called to the man and said to him, Where are you?

And He said, What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground.

If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, remain quietly where you are; for quietness heals great offenses.

Have you not brought this upon yourself, in that you have forsaken Jehovah your God, when He led you by the way?

And now what are you doing on the way toward Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? Or what are you doing, going toward Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?

Now therefore, please, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant: If Jehovah has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the sons of men, may they be cursed before Jehovah, for they have driven me out this day from joining in the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.
