And God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying:

And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your seed after you,

and with every living creature that is with you: the flying creatures, the animals, and every living thing of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every living thing of the earth.
11
Thus I have established My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.
12
And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13
I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
14
It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud;
15
and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16
The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look upon it to remember the perpetual covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17
And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
Genesis 17:1-27

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect;
2
and I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly abundantly.
3
And Abram fell on his face, and God spoke with him, saying:
4
As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
5
No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.
6
I will make you abundantly exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come forth from you.
7
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations, for a perpetual covenant, to be God unto you and unto your seed after you.
8
Also I have given unto you and your seed after you the land in which you sojourn, all the land of Canaan, as an enduring possession; and I will be their God.
9
And God said to Abraham: As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.
10
This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your seed after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised;
11
and you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant between Me and you.
12
He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male in your generations, he who is born in the house or bought with money from any son of a foreigner who is not your seed.
13
He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for a perpetual covenant.
14
And the uncircumcised male, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.
15
Then God said to Abraham, As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name.
16
And I have blessed her and have given you a son by her; yea, I have blessed her, and she shall become nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.
17
Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall one be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?
18
And Abraham said to God, Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!
19
And God said: Truly, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I have established My covenant with him for a perpetual covenant, with his seed after him.
20
And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly abundantly. He shall beget twelve chiefs, and I will make him a great nation.
21
But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.
22
And He finished talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.
23
And Abraham took Ishmael his son, all who were born in his house and all who were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskins the same day, as God had spoken unto him.
24
And Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
25
And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
26
In the same day Abraham was circumcised, along with his son Ishmael;
27
and all the men of his house, born in the house or bought with money from the son of a foreigner, were circumcised with him.
Genesis 24:7
Jehovah the God of Heaven, who took me from my father's house and from the land of my kindred, and who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, To your seed I give this land, He will send His Angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.

Thus says Jehovah: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season,

then also may My covenant with David My servant be broken, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites the priests, My ministers.

As the host of the heavens cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so I will multiply the seed of David My servant and the Levites who serve Me.

then I will cast away the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will bring back their captives, and have mercy on them.
Galatians 3:15-17

Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man's covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it.

Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to your Seed, who is Christ.

Joshua 19:1-38

The second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families. And their inheritance was within the inheritance of the sons of Judah.

They had in their inheritance Beer-sheba (Sheba), Moladah,

Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,

Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5
Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,

Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their villages;

and all the villages that were all around these cities as far as Baalath Beer, Ramah of the south. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families.

The inheritance of the sons of Simeon was included in the portion of the sons of Judah, for the portion of the sons of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the sons of Simeon had their inheritance within their inheritance.

The third lot came out for the sons of Zebulun according to their families, and the border of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
11
Their border went toward the west and to Maralah, went to Dabbasheth, and extended along the brook that is in front of Jokneam.
12
Then from Sarid it turned eastward toward the sunrise along the border of Chisloth Tabor, and went out toward Daberath, going up to Japhia.
13
And from there it passed along on the east of Gath Hepher, toward Eth Kazin, and extended to Rimmon, to Neah.
14
And the border went around it on the north side to Hannathon, and ended in the valley of Jiphthah El;
15
and included Kattath, Nahallal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.
16
This was the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
17
The fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the sons of Issachar according to their families.
18
And their territory went to Jezreel, and included Chesulloth, Shunem,

Haphraim, Shion, Anaharath,
20
Rabbith, Kishion, Abez,
21
Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.

And the border reached to Tabor, Shahazimah, and Beth Shemesh; their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families.

And their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal; it reached to Mount Carmel westward, along the brook Shihor Libnath.

It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon; and it reached to Zebulun and to the Valley of Jiphthah El, then northward beyond Beth Emek and Neiel, going past Cabul on the left,

including Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.

And the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; from there the border turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.
30
Included also were Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.
31
This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
32
The sixth lot came out to the sons of Naphtali, for the sons of Naphtali according to their families.

And their border began at Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, Adami Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; it ended at the Jordan.

And the border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there toward Hukkok; it extended to Zebulun on the south side and Asher on the west side, and ended at Judah by the Jordan toward the sunrise.

And the fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
