And I will bring you into the land which I raised My hand and swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you for a possession. I am Jehovah.

For I raise My hand to the heavens, and say, As I live forever,

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was on the waters of the river, when he held up his right and his left hand to the heavens and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and a half. And when they have made an end of scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to Heaven

and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be no more time;

Now therefore, swear to me by God that you will not deal falsely with me, with my offspring, or with my posterity; but that according to the kindness that I have done to you, you will do to me and to the land in which you have sojourned.

But Abraham rebuked Abimelech because of a well of water which Abimelech's servants had seized.

And Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two of them made a covenant.

And Abimelech asked Abraham, What are these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves?

Therefore he called that place Beer-sheba, because the two of them swore an oath there.

And it came to pass when he saw her, that he tore his clothes and said, Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low! You are among those who trouble me! For I have given my word unto Jehovah, and I cannot go back on it.

and blessed is the Most High God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him a tithe of all.

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect;

that they may know that You, whose name alone is Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.

For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and consecrated place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to the heavens, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High. And I praised and honored Him who lives forever, whose dominion is an eternal dominion, and His rule from generation to generation.

The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts.

And he blessed him and said: Blessed is Abram of the Most High God, Possessor of Heaven and earth;

And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and there he called upon the name of Jehovah, the Eternal God.
