And the men of Azotus saw that it was so, and they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us, for His hand is heavy upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

So they sent and gathered the lords of the Philistines, and they said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it lodge in its place; and let it not slay us and our people.

behold, the hand of the Lord shall be upon your cattle in the fields, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen and on the sheep- a very great pestilence.

For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; I became thoroughly miserable while a thorn was fastened in [me]. Pause.

And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season." And immediately a mistiness and darkness fell upon him, and going about, he sought someone to lead him by the hand.

And it came to pass after it went about to Gath, that the hand of the Lord came upon the city, and [there was] very great confusion. And He struck the men of the city, [both] small and great, and struck them in their secret parts. And the Gittites made for themselves images of tumors.

According to the number of the lords of the Philistines, five golden tumors, for the plague was on you, and on your rulers, and on the people; and golden rats, the likeness of the rats that destroy your land. And you shall give glory to the Lord, that He may lighten His hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

The Lord shall smite you with the botch of Egypt in the seat, and with a malignant scab, and itch, so that you can not be healed.

Alas! Destruction to the unrighteous, and rejection to them that do iniquity!

And He beat back His enemies; He brought on them a perpetual reproach.

And they said, What is the offering for the plague which we shall return to it? And they said,
