And the Lord shall recompense each according to his righteousness and his truth, since the Lord delivered you this day into my hands, and I would not lift my hand against the Lord's anointed.

[ 24:20] And if anyone should find his enemy in distress, and should send him forth in a good way, then the Lord will reward him with good, as you have done this day.

And the Lord gave them rest round about, as He swore to their fathers; not one of all their enemies maintained his ground against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hands.

And Judah went up; and the Lord delivered the Canaanite and the Perizzite into their hands, and they attacked them in Bezek to [the number of] ten thousand men.

[ 24:19] And you have told me today what good you have done me, how the Lord shut me up into your hands today, and you did not kill me.

How should one pursue a thousand, and two put tens of thousands to flight, if God had not sold them, and the Lord had not delivered them up?

And You have not shut me up into the hands of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

For God has shut up all to disobedience, that He might show mercy to all.

But the Scripture has confined all under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, having been hemmed in for the faith which was to be revealed.

What do you devise against the Lord? He will make a complete end: He will not take vengeance by affliction twice at the same time.
