With the holy, You shall be holy; and with the blameless, You shall be blameless.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured [back] to you.

my deliverer from angry enemies; You shall set me on high above them that rise up against me; You shall deliver me from the unrighteous man.

The Lord is near to them that are of a contrite heart; and will save the lowly in spirit.

My mercy, and my refuge; my helper, and my deliverer; my protector, in whom I have trusted; who subdues my people under me.

strengthening the souls of the disciples, urging [them] to continue in the faith, [saying], "Through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God."

Yes, we have had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,

who delivered us from so great a death, and is delivering [us]; in whom we trust that He will still deliver [us],

and that we may be delivered from evil and wicked men; for not all have faith.
