And David said to Jonathan, Behold, tomorrow is the new moon, and I shall not on any account sit down to eat, but you shall let me go, and I will hide in the plain till the evening.

And Jonathan, Saul's son, loved David much. And Jonathan told David, saying, Saul seeks to kill you; take heed to yourself therefore tomorrow morning, and hide yourself, and dwell in secret.
