And the woman went in to Saul, and saw that he was greatly disquieted, and said to him, Behold now, your maidservant has heeded your voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have heard the words which you have spoken to me.

as my father fought for you, and put his life in jeopardy, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian;

And I saw that you were no helper, and I put my life in my hand, and passed on to the sons of Ammon; and the Lord delivered them into my hand: and why then have you come up against me this day to fight with me?

My soul is continually in Your hands; and I have not forgotten Your law.

But I count myself as nothing; nor do I regard my life as valuable to myself, so that I may complete my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear solemn testimony to the gospel of the grace of God.

because for the work of Christ he drew near unto death, being careless with his life, in order that he might fill up that which was lacking in your service to me.

And David stretched out his hand into his bag, and took out a stone, and slung it, and struck the Philistine on his forehead, and the stone penetrated through the helmet into his forehead, and he fell upon his face to the ground.

And David ran, and stood upon him, and took his sword, and killed him, and cut off his head. And the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, and they fled.

And Saul said, No man shall die this day, for today the Lord has wrought deliverance in Israel.

And the people said to Saul, Shall he that has accomplished this great salvation in Israel be put to death this day? [As] the Lord lives, there shall not fall to the ground one of the hairs of his head; for the people of God have done good this day. And the people prayed for Jonathan in that day, and he died not.

And the men of Israel and Judah arose, and shouted and pursued them as far as the entrance to Gath, and as far as the gate of Ashkelon. And the slain men of the Philistines fell in the way of the gates, both to Gath, and to Ekron.

And the men of Israel returned from pursuing after the Philistines, and they destroyed their camp.

And Moses said to the people, Be of good courage: stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for us this day; for as you have seen the Egyptians today, you shall see them again no more forever.

And he stood in the midst of the portion, and rescued it, and attacked the Philistines; and the Lord wrought a great deliverance.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard [Him],

And Jonathan answered Saul, Why is he to die? What has he done?

But be certain of this, that if you kill me, you shall bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon its inhabitants; for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.

saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is [that] to us? You see to it!"

And Pilate, seeing that nothing was being gained, but rather a riot was starting, taking water, he washed his hands clean in front of the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just [Man]. You see to it."

For none of them that wait on You shall in any way be ashamed; let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.

Those that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; my enemies that persecute me unrighteously are strengthened. Then I restored that which I took not away.

But [this was] so that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, 'They hated Me without cause.'
