And David came to Nob, to Abimelech the priest. And Abimelech was amazed at meeting him, and said to him, Why are you alone, and no one is with you?

And David feared the Lord in that day, saying, How shall the ark of the Lord come in to me?

And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come in to me to bring my sins to remembrance, and to slay my son?

Therefore have I mown down your prophets; I have slain them with the word of My mouth; and My judgment shall go forth as the light.

I will go after the Lord: He shall utter [His voice] as a lion. For He shall roar, and the children of the waters shall be amazed.

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!"

Then the whole multitude from the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to go away from them, because they were gripped with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.

And David went out to meet them, and said to them, If you have come peaceably to me, let my heart be at peace with you; but if [you have come] to betray me to my enemies unfaithfully, [may] the God of your fathers look upon it, and bring judgment.

And the Spirit came upon Amasai, a captain of the thirty, and he said, Go, David, son of Jesse, you and your people. Peace, peace be to you, and peace to your helpers, for your God has helped you. And David received them, and made them captains of the forces.
