and that you aspire to be quiet, and to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, just as we commanded you,

in order that you may walk decently toward those outside, and may have need of nothing.

And to such [people] we command and urge by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored to life the dead son, behold, the woman whose son Elisha restored to life [came] crying to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this [is] the woman, and this [is] her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

But the Lord removed sleep from the king that night; and he told his servant to bring in the books, the registers of daily events, to read to him.

And he found the records written concerning Mordecai, how he had told the king concerning the two eunuchs of the king, when they were keeping guard, and sought to lay hands on Artaxerxes.
