And the house of Micah [was] to him the house of God, and he made an ephod and theraphin, and he consecrated one of his sons, and he became to him a priest.

And the five men who went to spy out the land of Laish answered, and said to their brethren, You know that there is in this place an ephod, and theraphin, and a graven and a molten image; and now consider what you shall do.

And the five men who went to spy out the land went up, and entered into the house of Micah, and the priest stood.

And they shall make the ephod of fine linen spun, the woven work of the embroiderer.

And it came to pass when Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned, and went a whoring after Baalam, and made for themselves a covenant with Baal, that he should be their god.

And you shall eat all the spoils of the nations which the Lord your God gives you; your eye shall not spare them, and you shall not serve their gods; for this is an offense to you.
