And now, O Israel, hear the statutes and judgments, [hear] all that I teach you this day to do, that you may live, and be multiplied, and that you may go in and inherit the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives to you.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He may say to you, do."

You are My friends if you do what I command you.

to reveal His Son in me, so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood,

but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who is testing our hearts.

The good man is he that pities and lends; he will direct his affairs with judgment.

This [man] came to Him by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You have come from God [as] a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."
