A revelation was made in Israel when the people were made willing: Bless the Lord!

And the people rejoiced because of the willingness, for they offered willingly to the Lord with a full heart; and King David rejoiced greatly.

For I bear witness that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,

with much appeal, begging us [for] the grace and the fellowship of the ministry to the saints--

For if there is first a readiness, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

Because he accepted my appeal, but being more diligent, he came to you of his own accord.

Therefore I thought it necessary to urge the brothers, that they should go before [me] to you, and should arrange in advance your generous gift, which you had previously promised, [that] this would be ready, thus as a blessing and not as grudgingly given.
