Kirjath Baal, this [is] the city of Jearim, and Sotheba: two cities, and their villages:

And the men of Kirjath Jearim came, and brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord. And they brought it into the house of Aminadab on the hill; and they sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the covenant of the Lord.

So David assembled all Israel, from the borders of Egypt even to the entering in of Hamath, to bring in the ark of God from the city of Jearim.

And David brought it up. And all Israel went up to the City of David, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of the Lord God who sits between the cherubim, where His name is proclaimed.

But David had brought up the ark of God out of the city of Kirjath Jearim; for David had prepared a place for it, for he had pitched a tabernacle for it in Jerusalem.

And the Spirit of the Lord began to go out with him in the camp of Dan, and between Zorah and Esthaol.
