There is a way which seems to be right with men, but the ends of it reach to the depths of hell.

Know that their heart is ashes, and they err, and no one is able to deliver his soul; see, you will not say, [There is a] lie in my right hand.

But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to Me, is as he that kills a dog; and he that offers fine flour, as [one that offers] swine's blood; he that gives frankincense for a memorial, is as a blasphemer. Yet they have chosen their own ways, and their soul has delighted in their abominations.

I also will choose their mockeries, and will recompense their sins upon them; because I called them, and they did not hearken to Me; I spoke, and they heard not; and they did evil before Me, and chose the things in which I did not delight.

And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"

But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

They will excommunicate you; but a time is coming when everyone who kills you will think that he is offering God a service.

Therefore I thought in myself that it was necessary to do many hostile things against the name of Jesus the Nazarene;

For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

For they, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
