And they made the veil of blue, purple, spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, the woven work with cherubim.

"I know your works, and your tribulation, and your poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but [are] a synagogue of Satan.

And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.

Then a long white robe was given to them, and it was said to them that they should rest yet a while, until also their fellow servants and their brothers, who were about to be killed as also they [were], should complete [their course].

And I saw something like a glassy sea having been mixed with fire, and those who prevailed over the Beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing on the glassy sea, having the harps of God.

I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but have courage, I have overcome the world."

strengthening the souls of the disciples, urging [them] to continue in the faith, [saying], "Through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God."

And not only that, but we also rejoice in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces endurance;

so that we ourselves are boasting in you among the churches of God about your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and who washed us from our sins in His own blood,

And come, let us reason together, says the Lord; and though your sins be as purple, I will make them white as snow; and though they be as scarlet, I will make [them] white as wool.

[ 3:4] Now Joshua was clothed in filthy garments, and stood before the Angel.

[ 3:6] and place a clean turban upon his head. So they placed a clean turban upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.

In that day every place shall be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for removal and for separation.

Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me."

Jesus said to him, "He that is bathed need only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."

So when He had washed their feet, and had taken His garments, He reclined again, and said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?

Therefore if I, your Lord and your Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

And such were some of you! But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

in order that He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of water by the word,

that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and blameless.

by how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, will cleanse your conscience from dead works in order that we might serve the living God?

But if we are walking in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; because You were slain, and You redeemed us to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and language and people and nation;

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Therefore Jesus also, so that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb blameless and spotless,
