Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and who keep the things having been written in it; for the time is near.

Behold, I am coming swiftly! Blessed is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to each one according to his work.

He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus!

For the great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and very speedy; the sound of the day of the Lord is made bitter and harsh.

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Do not murmur against one another, brothers, lest you be judged. Behold, the Judge stands before the doors!

Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and by no means shall you know what hour I will come upon you.

"I know your works, and where you live, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan is dwelling.

Only hold fast what you have till I come.

Fear none of those things which you are about to suffer. Behold indeed, the devil is about to cast [some] of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw the twenty-four elders sitting, having been clothed in white robes; and on their heads [were] crowns of gold.

the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and they worship Him that lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

And everyone who competes exercises self-control [in] all things. Now they [compete] in order that they may receive a perishable crown, but we [compete] [for] an imperishable crown.

And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; because when he is approved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love Him.

nor as being masters over the flock [under you], but rather being examples to the flock.

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
