Then the second angel sounded [his] trumpet, and [something] like a great burning mountain was cast into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

and having in his hand a scroll having been opened. And he put his right foot on the sea, but his left [one] on the land,

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a Beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads blasphemous names.

These [men] have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls [during] the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they wish.

Thus says the Lord: By this you shall know that I am the Lord: behold, I strike the water which is in the river with the rod that is in my hand, and it shall change it into blood.

And the Lord said to Moses, Say to your brother Aaron, Take your rod in your hand, and stretch forth your hand over the waters of Egypt, and over their rivers, and over their canals, and over their ponds, and over all their standing water, and it shall become blood. And there was blood in all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and of stone.

And the fish in the river died, and the river stank; and the Egyptians could not drink water from the river, and the blood was in all the land of Egypt.

and had changed their rivers into blood, and their streams, that they should not drink.

He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

And I will be avenged on you with the vengeance of an adulteress, and I will bring upon you blood of fury and jealousy.

And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

And all things which have the breath of life, and whatever was on the dry land, died.
