and having in his hand a scroll having been opened. And he put his right foot on the sea, but his left [one] on the land,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I will stretch out my hand to the Lord, the Most High God, who made the heaven and the earth,

Then the Angel of the Lord called Abraham the second time out of heaven, saying,

I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and on My account have not spared your beloved son,

And I will bring you into the land concerning which I stretched out My hand to give it to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and I will give it you for an inheritance: I am the Lord.

For I will lift up My hand to heaven, and swear by My right hand, and I will say, I live forever.

and you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: From the day that I chose the house of Israel, and became known to the seed of the house of Jacob, and was known to them in the land of Egypt, and helped them with My hand, saying, I am the Lord your God;

But I lifted up My hand against them in the wilderness once for all, that I would not bring them into the land which I gave them, a land flowing with milk and honey, it is sweeter than all lands;

I lifted up My hand against them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the Gentiles, [and] disperse them in the countries;

Whereas I brought them into the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to them; and they looked upon every high hill, and every shady tree, and they sacrificed there to their gods, and offered there sweet-smelling savors, and there they poured out their drink offerings.

And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have brought you into the land of Israel, into the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to your fathers.

therefore I will lift up My hand against the nations that are round about you; they shall bear their reproach.

And you shall inherit it, each according to his brother's portion, [even the land] concerning which I lifted up My hand to give [it] to your fathers; and this land shall fall to you by lot.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was over the water of the river, and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him that lives forever, that [it should be] for a time, times and half a time. When the dispersion is ended, they shall know all these things.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,

I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him that sits on the throne, to Him that lives forever and ever,

They must certainly be borne, for they cannot ride [of themselves]. Fear them not, for they cannot do any evil, and there is no good in them.

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy [One], to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because You created all things, and by Your will they existed and they were created."

saying with a loud voice, "Fear the Lord and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and you shall worship Him who made heaven and earth, and the sea and fountains of waters."

In the beginning God made the heaven and the earth.

For in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, and the sea and all things in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it.

And Ezra said, You are the only true Lord; You have made the heaven, and the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and everything in it, the seas, and everything in them; and You give life to all things, and the hosts of heaven worship You.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King over all gods; for the Lord will not cast off His people.

For the sea is His, and He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

Alleluia, [A Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the highest.

Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars and light.

Let them praise the name of the Lord; for He spoke, and they were made; He commanded, and they were created.

Praise the Lord from the earth, you serpents, and all the depths.

Thus shall you say to them: Let the gods which have not made heaven and earth perish from off the earth, and from under this sky.

and set abundance of waters in the sky, and brought up clouds from the ends of the earth. He made lightnings for the rain, and brought forth light out of His treasures.

and saying, "Men! Why are you doing these things? We men are of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, that you must turn from these useless things to turn to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all the things in them,

for as I passed by and considered the objects of your worship, I found also an altar on which it had been inscribed: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, [Him] whom being ignorant of you worship, this [One] I announce to you:

For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Divinity, so that they are without excuse.

Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It has been done!"

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was over the water of the river, and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him that lives forever, that [it should be] for a time, times and half a time. When the dispersion is ended, they shall know all these things.
