He answered and said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

And He said, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest [they are] in parables, that 'Seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'

and in the midst of the seven lampstands [stood One] like [the] Son of Man, having been clothed in a [robe] reaching to [His] feet and having been girded across [His] chest with a golden belt.

He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was as the sun shining in its strength.

And there I turned to see the voice which was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

"To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, 'These things says the First and the Last, who became dead, and came to life:

"And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:

"And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, 'These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

"And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name, that you live, and you are dead.

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says the Holy [One], the True [One], " He who has the key of David, He that opens and no man shuts, except He that opens, and no man shall open."

"And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write, 'These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty.

And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I have seen, and behold a lampstand of solid gold, with a bowl upon it, and seven lamps upon it, and seven oil funnels to the lamps upon it.

Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines on everything in the house.

Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven.

in order that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine as light bearers in the world,

holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

These things I write to you, hoping to come to you shortly;

And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among [the] Gentiles, believed on in the world, [and] was received up in glory.
