But the prince of the kingdom of the Persians withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the princes, came to help me; and I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of the Persians.

But I will tell you that which is ordained in the scripture of truth; and there is no one that holds with me in these matters but Michael your prince.

And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of your people, and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time. At that time your people shall be delivered, everyone that is written in the book.

And there came to be war in heaven: Michael and his angels, waging war with the dragon; and the dragon made war, and his angels,

Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a word of command, with [the] voice of an archangel, and with [the] trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

And they buried him in Gai near Beth Peor; and no one has seen his tomb to this day.

You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people.

And Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jewish language, and said, Hear the words of the great king, the king of the Assyrians:

And let not Hezekiah say to you, That God will deliver you, and this city will not at all be delivered into the hand of the king of the Assyrians.

until I come and take you to a land, like your own land, a land of grain and wine, and bread and vineyards.

Where is the god of Hamath, and Arpad? And where is the god of Sepharvaim? Have they been able to deliver Samaria out of my hand?

And they were silent, and none answered him a word; because the king had commanded that none should answer.

And those passing by were blaspheming Him, shaking their heads and saying, "Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,

Then one of the evildoers who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

not rendering evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called for this purpose, that you may inherit a blessing.

whereas angels, being greater in might and in power, do not bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.

And David went out to meet them, and said to them, If you have come peaceably to me, let my heart be at peace with you; but if [you have come] to betray me to my enemies unfaithfully, [may] the God of your fathers look upon it, and bring judgment.

Today is a day of affliction, and reproach, and rebuke, and anger; for the pangs have come upon the travailing [woman], but she has not the strength to bring forth.

May the Lord your God hear the words of Rabshakeh, which the king of the Assyrians has sent, to reproach the living God, even to reproach with the words which the Lord your God has heard; therefore you shall pray to your Lord for these that are left.

Thus shall you say to Hezekiah king of Judah, Let not your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of the Assyrians.

Have the gods of the nations which my fathers destroyed delivered them, [be it] Gozan, Haran, or Rezeph, which are in the land of Telassar?

And Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers, and read it, and went up to the house of the Lord, and opened it before the Lord.

O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, who sits upon the cherubim, You alone are the God of every kingdom of the world; You have made heaven and earth.

For truly, Lord, the kings of the Assyrians have laid waste the whole world, and the countries thereof,

But now, O Lord our God, deliver us from his hands, that every kingdom of the earth may know that You alone are God.

And the Lord said to the Devil, [ 3:3] The Lord rebuke you, O Devil, even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. Behold, is not this as a brand plucked from the fire?
