Who is a liar but the [one] who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the [one] who denies the Father and the Son.

Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either.

By this the Spirit of God is known: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

And Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

But as many as received Him, He gave them the authority to become children of God, to those who believe in His name;

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and you believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

For with the heart one believes [resulting in] righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, [resulting in] salvation.

because everything having been born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that has overcome the world--your faith.

If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.

No one who has been born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; and everyone that loves has been born of God and knows God.

He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother having need, and shuts off his compassion towards him, how does the love of God abide in him?

If anyone claims, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is it possible [for him] to love God whom he has not seen?

He who hates Me hates My Father also.

Exercising His will He begat us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.
