And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we should ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

The Lord has heard the desire of the poor: Your ear has inclined to the preparation of their heart;

I sought the Lord diligently, and He hearkened to me, and delivered me from all my sojournings.

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears [are open] to their prayer;

and delivered them out of all their afflictions.

And call upon Me in the day of affliction; and I shall deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. Pause.

If I have regarded iniquity in my heart, let not the Lord hearken [to me].

Therefore God has hearkened to me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

The Lord is near to all that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

He will perform the desire of them that fear Him: and He will hear their supplication, and save them.

God is far from the ungodly, but He hears the prayers of the righteous. [ 15:29A] Better are small receipts with righteousness, than abundant fruits with unrighteousness. [ 15:29B] Let the heart of a man think justly, that his steps may be rightly ordered of God.

He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even he has made his prayer abominable.

When you stretch forth your hands, I will turn away My eyes from you; and though you make many supplications, I will not hearken to you; for your hands are full of blood.

Seek the Lord, and when you find Him, call upon Him; and when He draws near to you,

let the ungodly leave his ways, and the transgressor his counsels; and let him return to the Lord, and he shall find mercy; for He shall abundantly pardon your sins.

And pray to Me, and I will hearken to you; and you shall earnestly seek Me, and you shall find Me;

for you shall seek Me with your whole heart.

Cry out to Me, and I will answer you, and I will declare to you great and mighty things, which you know not.

"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.

For everyone that asks receives, and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.

And all things, as many as you may ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive."

For this reason I say to you, all things whatsoever you ask for in prayer, believe that you [will] receive [them], and they will be yours.

"So I say to you, ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.

And which father among you, if his son asks for bread, will he give him a stone? Or [if he asks for] a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

If you then, being evil, know [how] to give good gifts to your children, by how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

And whatever you may ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what ever you may desire, and it shall be done for you.

And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.

Confess your transgressions to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of the righteous is very powerful.

And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and should love one another, just as He gave commandment.

And the [one] who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, from the Spirit whom He gave us.

"Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock:

and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and fell against that house; and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice [came] out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and I abide in His love.

So then these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent,

solemnly bearing witness to both Jews and to Greeks, the repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus.

Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, because I always do the things pleasing to Him."

Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

And I have all things and abound. I have been made full, having received from Epaphroditus the things [sent] from you, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.

that you should walk worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit and increasing in the full knowledge of God;

make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
