Now by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments.

These things I write to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.

We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies [under the sway] of the evil [one].

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made by hand, eternal in the heavens.

for this my son was dead and came to life, and he was lost and was found.' And they began to be merry.

But it was necessary to be merry and to rejoice, because your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"

"Most assuredly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

And you [He made alive], being dead in transgressions and sins,

even when we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and should love one another, just as He gave commandment.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; and everyone that loves has been born of God and knows God.

He that does not love does not know God, because God is love.

No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God should love his brother also.

By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments.

On behalf of the saints that are in His land, He has magnified all His pleasure in them.

"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.'

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

These things I command you, that you may love one another.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Because of this I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

when we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love which is towards all the saints;

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need [for me] to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

But we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until [the] end,

Let brotherly love remain.

Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

Finally, all [of you] be like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, compassionate, friendly,

and with godliness brotherly love, and with brotherly love, love.

He who says that he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

If anyone claims, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is it possible [for him] to love God whom he has not seen?

A man that wanders out of the way of righteousness shall rest in the congregation of giants.
