But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

But above all, my brothers, do not swear, neither by heaven nor the earth, nor any other oath. But let your "Yes," be "Yes," and your "No," "No," so that you may not fall into hypocrisy.

Beloved, concerning all things I pray you to prosper and to be healthy, just as your soul prospers.

Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become [as] sounding brass or a clashing cymbal.

And though I give away all my possessions to feed [the poor], and though I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

does not behave disgracefully, does not seek its own, is not provoked to anger, thinks no evil;

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Now we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; but when I became a man, I put away the things of the child.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Pursue love, and desire the spiritual [gifts], but especially that you may prophesy.

And may the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all [men], as indeed we also do toward you,

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need [for me] to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

For indeed you do so toward all the brothers in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brothers, that you increase more and more,

We are obligated to give thanks to God always for you, brothers, [and] rightfully so, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all increases towards one another,

Now the goal of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

Let brotherly love remain.

and with knowledge self-control, and with self-control perseverance, and with perseverance godliness,

and with godliness brotherly love, and with brotherly love, love.

Hatred stirs up strife, but affection covers all that do not love strife.

A fool declares his wrath the same day, but a prudent man hides his own disgrace.

He that conceals injuries seeks love, but he that hates to hide [them] separates friends and kindred.

Whoever answers a word before he hears [a cause], it is folly and reproach to him.

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

let him know that he who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
