Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are for a season, but the things which are not seen last forever.

(for we walk by faith, not by sight),

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king; for he endured as seeing the Unseen [One].

If anyone claims, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is it possible [for him] to love God whom he has not seen?

Therefore, to you who believe, [He] is precious; but to those who are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,"

Tell me, [you] whom my soul loves, where you tend your flock, where you cause [them] to rest at noon, lest I become as one that is veiled by the flocks of your companions.

What is your kinsman [more] than [another] kinsman, O fairest among women? What is your kinsman [more] than [another] kinsman, that you have so charged us?

His throat is most sweet, and altogether desirable. This is my kinsman, and this is my companion, O daughters of Jerusalem.

He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

"Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'

Therefore Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would have loved Me, for I came forth and have come from God; nor have I come from Myself, but He sent Me.

"If you love Me, keep My commandments.

He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him."

He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

He said to him the third time, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you care for Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you care for Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema. Marana tha!

For the love of Christ compels us, having concluded this: that if One died for all, then all died;

and He died for all, so that they who live should live no longer for themselves, but for the [One] who died for them and rose again.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

We love Him because He first loved us.

In which you greatly rejoice, [though for] a little while now, if need be, you have been distressed by various trials,

For though the fig tree shall bear no fruit, and there shall be no produce on the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall produce no food: the sheep have failed from the pasture, and there are no oxen at the cribs;

yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in God my Savior.

And bringing them up into his house, he set a meal before them; and he rejoiced with his whole house, having believed in God.

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

And having been persuaded of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith,

For we are the [true] circumcision, worshipping by the Spirit of God, rejoicing in Christ Jesus, and having no confidence in the flesh,

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Therefore you also now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

that he was caught up into Paradise and heard unspeakable words, which it is not permitted for a man to utter.

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

who also has sealed us, and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.
