And Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, near the threshing floor of Ahab king of Samaria.

And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard [it], that she said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, who would not sell it to you; for Naboth is not alive, for he is dead.

And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth the Jezreelite was dead, that he tore his clothes, and put on sackcloth. And it came to pass afterward, that Ahab arose and went down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.

Then King Joram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds with which they wounded him in Ramoth, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah son of Jehoram went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

And King Joram had returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, in his war with Hazael king of Syria. And Jehu said, If your heart is with me, let there not go forth out of the city one fugitive to go and report to Jezreel.

Now when Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel has heard [of it], and colored her eyes, and adorned her head, and looked out through the window.

And the Lord said to him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little [while] and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel on the house of Judah, and will make to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

And it shall be in that day, [that] I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.

And the Philistines assembled themselves, and came and encamped in Shunem. And Saul gathered all the men of Israel, and they encamped in Gilboa.

So they sought out a lovely young woman out of all the coasts of Israel; and they found Abishag the Shunammite, and they brought her to the king.

And he said to her, Speak to King Solomon, for he will not turn away his face from you, and let him give me Abishag the Shunammite for a wife.

And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother for a wife.

Now it happened one day that Elisha passed over to Shunem, and [there was] a great lady there, and she constrained him to eat bread. And it came to pass as often as he went into [the city, that] he turned aside to eat there.

And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call me this Shunammite. So he called her, and she stood before him.
