And Israel consecrated themselves to Baal of Peor; and the Lord was very angry with Israel.

on the other side of the Jordan, in the valley near Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, whom Moses and the sons of Israel killed when they came out of the land of Egypt.

And the Arabah as far as the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and as far as the Sea of the Arabah; the Salt Sea eastward [by] the way to Beth Jeshimoth, from Taman below the slopes of Pisgah.

And the Arabah and the Jordan [are] the boundaries of Chinnereth, even to the sea of Arabah, the Salt Sea under Asedoth Pisga eastward.

And they encamped by Jordan between Jesimoth, as far as Belsa to the west of Moab.

Therefore, behold, I will weaken the shoulder of Moab from his frontier cities, [even] the choice land, the house of Beth Jeshimoth above the fountain of the city, by the seaside.
