But that which fell on the good ground, these are such who when they heard the word, with a noble and good heart, hold on to it and bear fruit with endurance.

to those who by the endurance of good works are seeking glory and honor and incorruption--eternal life.

For by this hope we were saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?

But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly await it with endurance.

For as many things as were previously written, were written for our own instruction, that through the patience and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we may have hope.

but in everything commending ourselves as ministers of God: in much endurance, in tribulations, in hardships, in distresses,

in stripes, in imprisonments, in disturbances, in labors, in sleepless nights, in fastings;

For we by the Spirit eagerly await [for] the hope of righteousness by faith.

And while we do good, let us not lose heart, for in due season we shall reap if we do not become weary.

being strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and longsuffering with joy;

constantly remembering your work of faith, labor of love, and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,

And so, after he had been patient, he obtained the promise.

So therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every impediment, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and discouraged in your souls.

You also be patient. Establish your hearts, because the coming of the Lord has drawn near.

Do not murmur against one another, brothers, lest you be judged. Behold, the Judge stands before the doors!

For as the lightning comes out from the east and flashes to the west, so shall also be the coming of the Son of Man.

Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.

I tell you that He will execute justice for them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

so that you come short in no gift, eagerly awaiting the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting? [Is] it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers died, all things continue as from the beginning of creation."

then He shall give to your land the early and latter rain in its season, and you shall bring in your grain, your wine, and your oil.

And they have not said in their heart, Let us fear now the Lord our God, who gives us the early and latter rain, according to the season of the fulfillment of the ordinance of harvest, and has preserved [it] for us.

Let us follow on to know the Lord: we shall find Him ready as the morning, and He will come to us as the early and latter rain to the earth.

Rejoice then and be glad, you children of Zion, in the Lord your God; for He has given you food fully, and He will rain on you the early and the latter rain, as before.

Ask of the Lord rain in [its] season, the early and the latter rain. The Lord has given bright signs, and will give them abundant rain, to everyone grass in the field.
