But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith [apart] from your works, and I will show you my faith by means of my works.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

By faith Abraham, when he was tested, had offered up Isaac, and he that received the promises offered up his only begotten [son],

considering that even from the dead, God [was] able to raise [him up], from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

By this love has been perfected with us: that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because just as He is, we also are in this world.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment. But he that fears has not been made perfect in love.
