And Enoch was well-pleasing to God. After his begetting [of] Methuselah, [He walked with God] two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters.

And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him.

the [son] of Methuselah, the [son] of Enoch, the [son] of Jared, the [son] of Mahalalel, the [son] of Cainan,

Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

And it came to pass as they were going, they went on talking; and behold, a chariot of fire [appeared,] with horses of fire, and it separated the two of them; and Elijah was taken up in a whirlwind into heaven.

What man is there who shall live, and not see death? Shall [anyone] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? Pause.

Most assuredly I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall by no means experience death."

Then the Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham and the prophets died, and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word he shall by no means taste death.'

And they said to him, Behold now, [there are] with your servants fifty men of strength: let them go now, and seek your master: perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has taken him up, and cast him into the Jordan, or on one of the mountains, or on one of the hills. And Elisha said, You shall not send [them].

And they pressed him until he was ashamed; and he said, Send [them]. And they sent fifty men, and sought [him for] three days, and found him not.

And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king's son, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch and Jeremiah, but they were hidden.

Then some of the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations saw their corpse three-and-a-half days, and they will not allow their corpses to be put into a tomb.

Now after the three-and-a-half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who were watching them.

By faith we understand that time [itself] was framed by a word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying concerning his gifts; and through it, although he died, he still speaks.

But without faith it is impossible to please [God], for it is necessary [for] the [one] approaching God to believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

And Enoch was well-pleasing to God. After his begetting [of] Methuselah, [He walked with God] two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters.

And those that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who is testing our hearts.

And whatever we should ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and we do the things pleasing before Him.
