And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, having recently come from Italy with Priscilla his wife (because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to depart from Rome); he came to them,

Now Paul still remained there a good while, then bid farewell to the brothers, and sailed away for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. He had his hair cut off in Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow.

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. And when Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,

who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you heartily in the Lord, together with the church that is in their house.

May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me, and he was not ashamed of my chain;

May the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord in that Day--and you very well know how many ways he served in Ephesus.
