[ 3:25] And He cast out Adam and caused him to dwell over against the garden of Delight, and stationed the cherubim and the fiery sword that turns about to keep the way of the tree of life

And you drew near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire up to heaven: [there was] darkness, blackness, [and a] tempest.

And I stood between the Lord and you at that time to report to you the words of the Lord, (because you were afraid before the fire, and you went not up to the mountain,) saying,

Let Your hand be found by all Your enemies; let Your right hand find all that hate You.

You shall make them as a fiery oven at the time of Your presence; the Lord shall trouble them in His anger, and fire shall devour them.

Out of Zion [comes] the excellence of His beauty.

He shall summon the heaven above, and the earth, that He may judge His people.

And the heavens shall declare His righteousness; for God is Judge. Pause.

A stream of fire rushed forth before Him. Thousands [upon] thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand attended to Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

"Then He will also say to those on the left, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

"And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery zeal being about to devour the adversaries.

For our God is a consuming fire.

but the present heavens and earth, having been stored up by His word, are being reserved for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens, being set of fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements, burning with heat, shall melt?

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone where also the Beast and the False Prophet [are]. And they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death, the Lake of Fire.

And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.

But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and sinners, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and drug users, and idolaters, and all who are false shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

In the day of vengeance I will recompense, whenever their foot shall be tripped up; for the day of their destruction [is] near to them, and the judgments at hand are close upon you.

For I will sharpen My sword like lightning, and My hand shall take hold of judgment; and I will render judgment to My enemies, and will recompense them that hate Me.

I will make My weapons drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh[, it shall gorge itself] with the blood of the wounded, and from the captivity of the heads of [their] enemies that rule over them.

You shall rule them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.

Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in Him with trembling.

A Psalm of David for the fourth [day] of the week. The Lord is a God of vengeance; the God of vengeance has declared Himself.

to declare the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of recompense; to comfort all that mourn;

For the day of recompense has come upon them, and the year of redemption is at hand.

And I trampled them in My anger, and brought down their blood to the earth.

For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people."

And they cried [with] a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

And they said to the mountains and crags, "Fall on us and hide us from [the] face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!

For the great day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand?"

And Pharaoh said, Who is He that I should listen to His voice, so that I should send away the children of Israel? I do not know the Lord, and I will not let Israel go.

And the sons of Eli the priest [were] evil sons, not knowing the Lord.

And let them that know Your name hope in You- for You, O Lord, have not failed them that diligently seek You.

Pour out Your wrath upon the heathen that have not known You, and upon the kingdoms which have not called upon Your name.

And after a time there shall be in it no green thing because of [the grass] being parched. Come here, you woman that comes from a sight; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore He that made them shall have no pity upon them, and He that formed them shall have no mercy [upon them].

[There is] usury upon usury, and deceit upon deceit: they would not know Me, says the Lord.

and them that turn aside from the Lord, and them that seek not the Lord, and them that cleave not to the Lord.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.

Then they said to Him, "Where is Your Father?" Jesus answered, "You know neither Me nor My Father. If you knew Me, you would also know My Father."

And just as they did not approve to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things which are not fitting;

Awake to righteousness, and do not sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God,

And all these things shall come upon you in the last days, and you shall turn to the Lord your God, and shall hearken to His voice.

at the hearing of the ear they obeyed me: the strange children lied to me.

And if you are willing, and hearken to Me, you shall eat the good of the land;

And the word of God was growing, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was being multiplied exceedingly, and a great many of the priests were obeying the faith.

through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for His name,

to those who by the endurance of good works are seeking glory and honor and incorruption--eternal life.

But to those who are contentious, and who disobey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath,

Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to whom you obey, whether of sin [resulting] in death, or of obedience [resulting] in righteousness?

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ did not work out through me, in word and deed, for the obedience of [the] Gentiles--

[] but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the eternal God, for obedience to the faith--

casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was portrayed publicly among you as crucified?

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard [Him],

And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go forth to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, of whom you became children, when you do good and are not afraid of any terror.

For the time [has come] for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if [it begins] with us first, what will be the end of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?
