And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what [shall be] the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Assuredly I say to you, that by no means will this generation have passed away until all these things have taken place.

"But concerning that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.

And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has placed in His own authority.

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need [for me] to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Now concerning the ministering to the saints, it is unnecessary for me to write to you;

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you about our common salvation, it became necessary to write to you exhorting you to earnestly contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
