Finally then, brothers, we request of you and exhort [you] in the Lord Jesus, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you should abound more.

Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

And going through those parts, and encouraging them with many words, he came to Greece

And to such [people] we command and urge by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

And those having believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brothers, but rather let them serve as slaves, because those receiving the good service are believing and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.

Likewise exhort the young men to be sensible,

[Exhort] bondservants to be subject to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not talking back,

Speak these things, exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

And I appeal to you, brothers, bear with the word of exhortation, for briefly I wrote to you.

And you shall set him before Eleazar the priest, and you shall give him a charge before all the congregation, and you shall give a charge concerning him before them.

And command Joshua, and strengthen him, and encourage him; for he shall go before the face of this people, and he shall give them the inheritance of all the land which you have seen.

And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, the days of your death are at hand; call Joshua, and stand by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony, and I will give him a command. And Moses and Joshua went to the tabernacle of testimony, and stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony.

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

And these things command, so that they may be blameless.

I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing according to partiality.

I charge you before God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to put their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who provides all things richly for us to enjoy,

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead in accordance with His appearing and His kingdom:

And they came to Joseph, and said, Your father adjured us before his death, saying,

Thus you shall say to Joseph, Forgive them their injustice and their sin, forasmuch as they have done you evil; and now pardon the injustice of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept while they spoke to him.

And now, my son, the Lord shall be with you, and prosper [you]; and you shall build a house to the Lord your God, as He spoke concerning you.

Then will He prosper [you], if you take heed to do the commandments and judgments which the Lord commanded Moses for Israel; be courageous and strong; fear not, nor be terrified.

And now, [my] son Solomon, know the God of your fathers, and serve Him with a perfect heart and a willing soul; for the Lord searches all hearts, and knows every thought: if you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you should forsake Him, He will forsake you forever.

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong, and of good courage, and do [it]: fear not, neither be terrified; for the Lord my God [is] with you; He will not forsake you, and will not fail you, until you have finished all the work of the service of the house of the Lord. And behold the pattern of the temple, even His house, and its treasury, and the upper chambers, and the inner store rooms, and the place of propitiation, and the plan of the house of the Lord.

Come, you children, hear me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

[My] son, let not ungodly men lead you astray, neither shall you consent [to them].

go not in the way with them, let your foot turn aside from their paths:

[My] son, if you will receive the utterance of my commandment, and hide it within you;

[My] son, forget not my laws, but let your heart keep my words:

Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, and give attention to know understanding.

For I also was a son obedient to my father, and loved in the sight of my mother:

and do not neglect the speech of my mouth.

that it may give unto your head a crown of grace, and may cover you with a crown of delight.

For I teach you the ways of wisdom; and I cause you to go in right paths.

[My] son, attend to my wisdom, and incline your ear to my words;

that you may keep good understanding, and the discretion of my lips gives you a charge. Give no heed to a worthless woman,

[My] son, if you become surety for your friend, you shall deliver your hand to an enemy.

[My] son, keep my words, and hide my commandments with you. [ 7:2] [My] son, honor the Lord, and you shall be strong; and fear none but Him.

Now then [my] son, listen to me, and attend to the words of my mouth.

My words have been spoken by God- the oracular answer of a king, whom his mother instructed.

Give not your wealth to women, nor your mind and living to remorse. Do all things with counsel: drink wine with counsel.

lest they drink, and forget wisdom, and not be able to judge the poor rightly.

that they may forget their poverty, and may not remember their troubles anymore.

Open your mouth and judge justly, and plead the cause of the poor and weak.

I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I admonish [you].

For though you might have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet [you do] not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
