More than that I also consider all things to be loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have sustained the loss of all things, and I consider them to be rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

Not that I have already obtained, or have already been made perfect; but I press on, if also I may lay hold of that for which I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.

But now no longer having a place in these regions, and having a longing to come to you for many years,

But now I am traveling to Jerusalem ministering to the saints.

For they thought it good, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles shared in spiritual things, they are obligated also to minister to them in material things.

But I know that coming to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

Do you not know that those running in a stadium all run, but one receives the prize? So run, in order that you may win.

Therefore I run thus: not as without a goal, thus I box: not as one beating the air.

So therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every impediment, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured [the] cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
