And now harden not your hearts, as your fathers [did]; give glory to the Lord God, and enter into His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the Lord your God, and He shall turn away [His] fierce anger from you.

That they should not be as their fathers, a perverse and provoking generation; a generation which set not its heart aright, and its spirit was not steadfast with God.

I know that you are stubborn, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your forehead bronze.

"You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, you also do.

You were disobedient in the things relating to the Lord from the day in which He became known to you.
