[ 6:6] And the Lord God, having seen that the wicked actions of men were multiplied upon the earth, and that everyone in his heart was intently brooding over evil continually,

And the Lord God smelled an aroma of sweetness, and the Lord God having considered, said, I will never again curse the earth, because of the works of men, because the imagination of man is intently bent upon evil things from his youth, I will never again smite all living flesh as I have done.

You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thoughts long before.

declaring beforehand the latter events before they come to pass, and they are accomplished together; and I said, all My counsel shall stand, and I will do all things that I have planned;

Thus says the Lord God: It shall also come to pass in that day, that thoughts shall rise up into your heart, and you shall devise an evil plan.

And you shall say, I will go up to the rejected land; I will come upon them that are at ease in tranquility, and dwelling in peace, all inhabiting a land in which there is no wall, nor bars, nor have they doors;

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not far from Me: for now Ephraim has gone grievously a-whoring, Israel is defiled.

I tended to you as a shepherd in the wilderness, in an uninhabited land.

According to their pastures, so they were completely filled; and their hearts were exalted; therefore they forgot Me.

Have you offered to Me victims and sacrifices, O house of Israel, forty years in the wilderness?

Yea, you took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Rephan, the images of them which you made for yourselves.

But Jesus did not trust Himself to them, because He knew all [men],

and had no need that anyone should testify concerning man, for He himself knew what was in man.

Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you took, and by lawless hands, nailing [Him] to a cross, you killed [Him];

to do all that Your hand and Your counsel foreordained to come to pass.
