Your eye shall not spare him; so shall you purge innocent blood from Israel, and it shall be well with you.

Be merciful to Your people Israel, O Lord, whom You have redeemed, that innocent blood may not be charged on Your people Israel; and atonement shall be provided on their behalf for the blood.

And the king said to him, Go, and do to him as he has spoken, and kill him. And you shall bury him, and you shall remove this day the blood which he shed without cause, from me and from the house of my father.

Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, until he filled Jerusalem [with it] from one end to the other, beside his sins with which he caused Judah to sin, in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Moreover he shed innocent blood, and filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon [it].

They will hunt for the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.

The eye of the haughty, an unjust tongue, hands shedding innocent blood,

And their feet run to wickedness, [and are] swift to shed blood; their thoughts also are thoughts of murder; destruction and misery are in their ways;

and oppress not the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, and go not after strange gods to your hurt;

then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land which I gave to your fathers of old, and forever.

Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate plain, because of the wrongs of the children of Judah, because they have shed righteous blood in their land.

And they cried to the Lord, and said, Forbid it, Lord: let us not perish for the sake of this man's life, and bring not righteous blood upon us: for You, O Lord, have done as You willed.

saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is [that] to us? You see to it!"

And throwing the silver [coins] in the sanctuary, he departed; and going away, he hanged himself.
