And Korah the son of Izhar the son of Kohath the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiron, sons of Eliab, and On the son of Peleth the son of Reuben, spoke;

And when he ceased speaking all these words, the ground split apart beneath them.

And they went down, [they] and all that they had, alive into Hades; and the ground covered them, and they perished from the midst of the congregation.

And the sons of Eliab [were] Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram: these [are] renowned men of the congregation; these are they that rose up against Moses and Aaron in the gathering of Korah, in the rebellion against the Lord.

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up them and Korah, when their assembly perished, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty, and they were made a sign.

Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the midst of the congregation that rebelled against the Lord in the gathering of Korah; for he died for his own sin, and he had no sons. Let not the name of our father be blotted out of the midst of his people, because he has no son- give us an inheritance in the midst of our father's brethren.

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and closed upon the congregation of Abiram.
