Now if you will indeed hearken to all the commandments which I charge you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve Him with all your heart, and with all your soul,

You shall by all means keep the commandments of the Lord your God, the testimonies, and the statutes, which He has commanded you.

By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome,

to love the Lord your God, to hearken to His voice, and cleave to Him; for this [is] your life, and the length of your days, that you should dwell upon the land, which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

who, arriving and seeing the grace of God, was glad, and encouraged them all with purpose of heart to continue with the Lord,

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy, for I have betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

But I fear, lest perhaps as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
