You shall make for yourself judges and officers in your cities, which the Lord your God gives you in [your] tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment;

And Moses chose out able men out of all Israel, and he made them captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties and captains of tens over the people.

And they judged the people at all times; and every matter too burdensome they brought to Moses, but every light matter they judged themselves.

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

And Moses was angry with the captains of the army, the heads of thousands and the heads of hundreds who came from the battle array.

and [his manner shall be] to make them to himself captains of hundreds and captains of thousands; and to reap his harvest, and gather his vintage, and prepare his instruments of war, and the implements of his chariots.

And Saul said to his servants that stood by him, Hear now, you sons of Benjamin, will the son of Jesse indeed give all of you fields and vineyards, and will he make you all captains of hundreds and captains of thousands?
