We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

when we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love which is towards all the saints;

hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

constantly remembering your work of faith, labor of love, and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,

We are obligated to give thanks to God always for you, brothers, [and] rightfully so, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all increases towards one another,

Now the goal of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

and the grace of our Lord superabounded with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

On behalf of the saints that are in His land, He has magnified all His pleasure in them.

when we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love which is towards all the saints;

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need [for me] to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother having need, and shuts off his compassion towards him, how does the love of God abide in him?

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God should love his brother also.
