But what I am doing, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those who desire an opportunity, that in what they boast they may be found just as we [are].

"Behold, I am sending you forth like sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Therefore do not let your good be slandered.

But when I arrive, [those] whom ever you approve by letters, these I will send to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.

See then that you walk carefully, not as unwise, but as wise,

Abstain from every form of evil.
